That was my week.
The good: Seeing Courtney at Bloomington
The bad: Week at school
The ugly: Having no clue what I am doing with my professional life
Those are about all the highlights, but I thought I would give you an update on what is going on right now. Only 105 hours of school left until finals, or so my kids tell me. I am too tired to count. (Courtney can attest to that considering that I randomly fall asleep. Ehh)
I cannot wait until summer. Cliff found an apartment in Carmel, and I am ecstatic beyond belief that we have all summer together. I also have some plans for trips to see as many of you as I can. Anyone care to join me on a road trip?
Well I am off to make some stir fry. I miss you girls.
Love you!
Andrea

Since it is finally October, I just thought that I would wish Courtney, Elyssa, Lindsay, and Shannon a happy birthday!
This week has been going relatively well even though Purdue lost to Notre Dame this weekend (I hope you are happy Monica ) Oh well. U of I had it's homecoming this weekend. We had a contest between all the dorms to decorate the lobbies. This year's theme was Willy Wonka. Ours did look really cool (we even made a giant chocolate waterfall and boat), but we got runner-up to the overachiever freshman dorm. Other than that, there isn't much going on. I can't wait to get the journal again, so I'll be looking out for it!!! Talk to ya girls later
Love Always,
Andrea

Wow...Shannon's most recent posting just blew my mind. Many of you girls are gonna be 20 soon! I know that I have been this old for a few months, but it takes me by surprise everytime I think about it.
I miss you girls so much! I have been crazy busy in the past two weeks. I would like to be able to talk to you soon. D-port and Monica- can I have your cell phone numbers? Let me know if any of you are going on a road trip to visit each other. I would love to come! Also, feel free to come visit here. You are always welcome.
Well, this week has been the most stressful (but most satisfying) one yet. I had two papers due and my first big speech to give on Friday. Besides the whole fear of speaking in public thing, speech is incredibly difficult bc the prof is so picky. After getting into the speech, I wasn't nervous at all. I spoke about studying abroad in college, and my classmates actually seemed interested. I'll see how I did on Monday. (Thanks for the help Court!)
To top off the week, Cliff came to visit me!!! I was't sure if he was going to make it, but he got a ride with Brandon Hilts (very cool guy). Over the weekend, we did the usual: play pool, go to Old Spaghetti Factory/Denny's, talk into the early hours of morning and then decide we should get some sleep. Now that I think about it, maybe it isn't my age that takes me by surprise but rather what comes with it....preparing for a graduation, career, marriage. There. I said the "m" word. For so long getting married seemed so far away. Cliff and I were seriously thinking about it a lot this weekend. Now, I don't plan on getting engaged anytime soon, but now I can just think someday...
Well, I hope I didn't bore you with the mushy stuff, but I had to tell someone. I love you all, and I cant wait to see you again!

P.S. I was talking to a boy named Tod today. He was really cool. At the age of 18, he was hit by a drunk driver, and he had to take two more years of high school to relearn what the brain damage had erased. I would just like to say two things: pray for those injured in this type of accident, and be safe when driving late at night.
Love you all,
Andrea

I miss you
Hello all,
I miss you all so much! I have been thinking about all great times we have shared. I seriously want to plan some times to meet up with you if possible. I will be in the Fort from October 14 to Oct. 18. Let me know if you will be home for Fall break. We should also see if there is a place where we can all meet (Indy, Ball State?) later on in the year.
Well, school has been busy, but not chaotic yet. That may be because one of my classes hasn't started. I am taking a service learning class where I will be tutoring Hispanic children (one of my most favorite things). That is really exciting! I also love my diversity class. It is a debate/ discussion style class. On the other hand, I hate public speaking...Ahhh!
I went to see Cliff at Purdue the past two weekends. That rocked. His friends are really friendly and cool (most of them juniors from Dwenger). Two of them have a crazy room with every video game imaginable, so we spent some time singing kareoke and playing DDR. I miss him so much :(
Well I must be going, but stay in touch. I can't wait until I get the journal again. Give me a call on my cell if you get a chance. I would love to hear from you.
Lots of Love, Andrea
