Sooo a huge change of plans....

It all started thursday night. My check engine light came on as I was driving home from work and later that night I had trouble starting my car. Friday morning I took it to the mechanic and it got fixed pretty quickly for $300.00. And yes my father made me pay $300.00 of my own money to get a car fixed that is not mine and that I am not going to be driving a month from now. So I get into my car to go to work and my car will not start. I called my boss bawling because I had absolutely no way to get there. They let me come in today instead so no big drama there. We had to get the "fixed" car towed to the mechanic today because it never did start. I had to cancel my plans to go home and see my family for the weekend which sucked because I have not even been home a full day since I came down here.

So what this all means....I talked to my dad and stepmother and we decided that it would be better for me to move sooner rather than later. I put in my two weeks notice at work today and I am moving into my apartment May 17. I am sad to have to quit forever 21 so soon but rather than having to keep driving up to chicago for interviews it will be much easier for me to find a job when I am actually living in the city. I do have a few leads that I am pursuing at the moment though. So if you want to see me before I am no longer an indiana resident, you have two weeks.

Amy and I have discussed it, and we both love having visitors and overnight guests. So you are all invited to come visit us as much as you want to. And please do come and visit!
