One more day of classes and finals and I am done with school this year. Will I be done for good? I am not sure at this point. This was a great semester with my students. It is always rewarding seeing students have full conversations in Spanish when they came in knowing nothing. They did restaurant skits last week, and they were hilarious (half the time mocking me with goofy sayings I do all year).
On the other hand, do I want to spend the rest of my life grading papers and getting no respect from administrators and parents for working so hard with little pay? There lies my quandary.
I have still been working at the hospital and looking into Physical Therapy. I love working with the patients, but going back to school would be pricey. I have to tell school that I am not returning in the next two weeks. I may get a translating job for a year or teach at a public school for a year until I figure out all of this. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Yay for big life choices!
