Hey all~
I wanted to send a quick note to let you know that Jordan is now working 1st shift...who-hoo!!! This makes us both extremely happy. We have been wanting this for a long time. A guy on first shift at his work is leaving to go work elsewhere. His last day is this Tuesday. Jordan came home Tuesday morning and told me the exciting news. He started his training Wednesday. So far everything seems to be going smoothly. It is so weird to have him in bed at night, but its wonderful at the same time. Hopefully he never has to go back to 3rd! He gets his own desk, name plate( ohhh, awww) and voicemail. He checks over all the products before they get sent out, he buys everything for the company and will have his own company credit card and he will communicate with other places in having them buy their products.
Slow moving on the teaching search. I forgot to tell everyone that about 2 1/2 weeks ago I had a preschool interview. They contacted me literally 24 hours in advance and therfore never got the chance to tell you. I also didn't get it, but they said I had a lot of "strong teaching characteristics"..which is nice to hear. Bluffton-Harrison posted for a second grade teacher. I applied and am going to contact the principal about interviews. I'm hoping things will pick up in August, if not I'm hoping that they will need me back at Akron this year.

Congrats on Jordan's new position. That will be a very nice change. Hang in there with the teaching search. They are very hard to find, but you will get there.
