Sooo I have not posted anything in a very long time, probably because I don't have much to share. I promise I have been reading though to see what excitements are taking place in your lives. So, very quickly:
The job is going well. I don't love it, but I like it. My least favorite part is the customers, which is why I need to get off the retail floor because I apparently am not a people person. I hate dealing with these spoiled, rude women. Most of the customers are great, but it's that small percentage that is awful that unfortunately resonates more. I am not hard-core job searching, but am looking here and there just to see if a good opportunity arises. I had an interview and a follow up interview with a permanent designer sample sale company, but have not heard back yet. If I don't get it I won't be heartbroken as it seemed like a nice job but perhaps not the perfect fit. I keep reminding myself that I am lucky because I don't hate my job and because I have one. Ideally, I'd like to get into wholesale. My part-time jewelry job is great. The apartment is fine. It's small but the location is good.
I'm applying to graduate school at London Metropolitan University. I figure the chances that I will actually go are about 5% at this point but I figure I might as well apply and see what happens. If only I could convince MTV I am worthy of having my own reality show, then I could pay for it. But my life is pretty quiet right now; probably wouldn't make for a very interesting show.
