this is the continuation of my post. Jordan accidently sent it before I was done...disregard the first posting

Hi Girls,
I am glad that it is Spring. I'm looking forward to the warm weather. 3 days to go until spring break time, finally. I'm ansy and the students are slowly getting there. I definitely need a week long break to re-energize. Things have been going okay. This week is going to be tough for me. Thursday marks 2 months of my dad's passing. I wanted to update on how I was doing for you girls to know. Like I said I am a roller coaster- I have my good days and bad. I'm hanging in there each day with you girls in my heart.
On Saturday a surprise birthday party was thrown for my cousin who turned 30 on March 17th. It was the first time that I had seen my family (my dad's brother's family) since the funeral. It was extremely nice to be with them. My aunt Theresa and her boyfriend drove down from Illinois to be at the party. My cousin was completely surprised and we all enjoyed ourselves. With my dad's death, family and friends has been of utmost importance to me. So saturday night was very good for me. I will be putting pictures up on facebook soon, if any of you are interested in looking at them. Before we went to the party, my aunt, mom and I went to go visit my dad's gravesite (wow that's hard to type). Its not the greatest to look at right now. the grass hasn't grown yet and we don't have a plaque up yet, so his name and date of birth/date is on a little stick thing. It will look better once we get a plaque up and put some flowers around his grave.
Jordan and I are beginning a search of looking for our first house to buy and one that has a fenced in yard for Sophie. She needs an area that she can run around in and she can't get it here, esp. with the busy street that we live on. We looked at a house on Sunday but it's not one that I can see myself in. We are taking it slow since we are starting to get a little closer to the end of the school year and trying to see if I get a job in Huntington or somewhere else. There is a house that is about 2-3 blocks from our house that we are interested in looking at. It looks like a cute house. We would try to rent another house but we feel its kind of pointless to go to another place where we would be paying money each month.
Jordan is on his second week of 3rd shift and its going well. My friend Courtney Branscomb, who was in the wedding, her fiance actually works 3rd shift as well there. However Jordan doesn't see him that much because he works on another floor. The nights are a lot easier for me with having Sophie and plus knowing that Jordan is only a 6 minute walk away. My job is going well. Right now I am working on assessing the students on seeing how well they can tell time to the hour and half past times, identifying coins and their amounts, adding up coin amounts, working with students on their writing abilities in keep practicing of spelling sight words, number words, etc. My work is good and keeps me busy and I am hoping that I can here part time next year if I don't get a full time job, but we will see. depends on funds.
