Hey ladies,
So, I was just reading through some random old posts, and I mean old, from like 2005 old, and they made me laugh. That seems so long ago and yet...not...it was four years ago though, which is quite awhile! It's awesome that we have all of this chronicled, not that I will ever have time to go back and read through it all...it's still neat though. Can you believer where we are all at now?? Seriously, it's all nuts.
Life here is good. 12 more days of my first year of teaching! (one of those days being Kindergarten round up where the current kids won't be here, so 11 more days with my kids!) Craziness. It has been a whirlwind of a year and I'm glad, though sad, that it's almost over. It is nice though that I will never have to have my first year of teaching ever again. I like that. I've decided that I am way to good at overcommitting myself too. This year wasn't bad, but if I do this ND thing, yeah it might be. And add on to that that it would be nice to maybe meet someone, but I'm really try to just take life a day at a time and trust in God. Hopefully I'm following his call right now...I have begun to try the whole social life thing again (yeah Court, I think I've become somewhat anti-social too). I mean I have a really close group of friends at St. V's (teaching and lifeteen), but other than that I haven't been social much elsewhere. I'm going to try to remedy that this summer. It's weird to actually have time right now.
And Joey's graduating Friday...crazy girls, isn't it? Siblings graduating? He's definitely ready for college. And Chelsea is loving Florida and her Disney internship and is planning on transferring to a school down there. It will be sad with her being so far, but I'm not really complaining about the excuse to go down to Florida.
Finally, I put my novel that I started senior year of high school on a blog titled lindsayswritings.blogspot.com. If you would like to read/comment, please feel free. I have to warn you though, it may be a tad cheesy at parts and I did start writing it six years ago. It's definitely adolescent lit. and obviously not Tolkien or Rowling material. However, I still have ambitions for it, so I would love any and all feedback. I may have to invite you to it for you to post, so let me know if you can't access it.
Well, folks, that's all!
Miss you all and see you soon! (I hope)
Much love,
Lindsay
