Hello girlies,
Just a heads up to you all who will happen to be in the Fort from May 21st to May 26th, I will also be there! Kaylin is graduating from BD (I think there's a McGuine, Korson, and Klinker graduating as well?) so I'm coming home for about a week to witness that and help my mother throw the party. So whoever will be home, I'd love to see you!! Call me, otherwise I just might call you. It'll be the last time I'll be in the lower Midwest until mid-late August.
I had a lovely birthday. It's been like a birthday week! Last Saturday Sean took me out to get a new bike, which I absolutely love. It is a hybrid bike, so much lighter than the mountain bike I had been riding around, and it goes sooooo fast! Then my housemates and I had a cookout on Saturday evening to celebrate. The people at work threw me a little lunch party on Tuesday which was nice, Sean and I went to dinner on Wednesday night, and yesterday Miguel, who helps run the after school program with me, brought in a cake to share with the kiddies. So it was a good week. I'm really looking forward to some time off to just relax. I'm taking a bus/train combo home which will take me about 13 hours total of travel time one-way, but I'm kinda looking forward to it.
