Besides listening to the same Kanye West songs over and over again I am reading Tender is the Night per a friend's recommendation and it is quite good so far.

T-minus 4 hours until I am boarding the train to head home. It would be more exciting if I were not feeling so guilty about leaving work for a weekend...as my facebook status says I am never leaving town again. My Chicago friends seem to like this apparently.

And the single adventures continue...talked and danced and flirted with a Highlife member wednesday night at a bar. I don't think he knows I'm not allowed to date him and I don't know how to tell him. Especially since he is getting me a discount on a DJ for our Halloween party.

I plan on celebrating my birthday in some interesting fashion on October 10th. I have no idea what I will be doing but I suppose I have to plan something fun since I've been bouncing around telling everyone that is my birthday weekend and they better be in town. So if you can make it to town I'd love to have you.

Jacob and the GF are coming to stay at our apartment in a few weeks so he can take her to a cubs game. I feel like I am pretty much over him but they are the biggest PDA couple I have ever seen and it makes me nauceous...almost literally. So I suppose on a subconcious level I am not quite there yet. Boo. Anyway, I plan on finding a friend's apartment to crash at that weekend. It will keep me in a better mood not to be around them too much.
