My dearest amigas,
I need to work on my resume; however, this tasks currently seems to be an exceptionally boring idea to me. I've procrastinated all day and am posting to continue that trend. :)
I moved into my new apartment last Saturday. I really like it. It is nice and spacious and gets a lot of light during the day. Plus it has an awesome view of downtown Minneapolis. If you should ever want to visit, I've got plenty of space for you!
The not so fun part is doing all of the grown-up things to get my affairs in order before grad school starts. I wish these things and errands would set themselves up but alas, that does not happen. If only resumes and cover letters would write themselves. Today I was going to go to the University to talk to the financial aid people, but it poured all dang day. I waited till afternoon thinking it might clear up enough to ride my bike, (if not, I was going to take the bus) but then there was a tornado that apparently past by my window. I just thought it was an odd fog cause by the rain, but aparently it was windy and swirling. The tornado sirens went off about 10 minutes after I saw this mysterious fog. Lot of good that did. It did some damage in my old neighborhood that is only like a mile away, but luckily no one was hurt.
So instead of going to the U, I reread some of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It was nice.
Okay, I really should get started on this resume now. Maybe.
