I went running with my sister this weekend. I wish I had her here in Chicago because she is the best personal trainer. We ran three miles without stopping. At one point when I felt tired she said "You can do it. I have faith in you." Having her say that to me, even if she is often terribly mean, was all the motivation I needed. It is nice to hear from people that they have faith in you.
Three weeks ago I got three numbers in one weekend, (a personal best!). But after that I decided I need to get some of this excess/unneeded drama out of my life. So, I deleted 8 numbers from random men out of my phone last weekend. I am starting over.
Goals for the fall season: Start volunteering for fashion organizations here in the city. Passively job hunt a little...just to get an idea of what is out there. Put my all into my current job so that I will come out of it with as much as I can. Try to have a good attitude when people are rude. Try to be nicer to people as I am often amazed at how I am treated. Make more girl friends...I have too many guy friends and am in need of a go to wingwoman. Look toward the future...thinking about going back to London. Constantly weighing the pros and cons over that one and giving myself a lot of time to think it over. Oh, and to meet Jay Cutler :)
I believe in you, Shannon. :) Always have.
ReplyDeleteLol this is the second time that I have had to wikipedia a celebrity that you mentioned in your post in order to figure out who he is! I do hope you get to meet him.
I also believe in you Shannon! And love you!
ReplyDeleteJay Cutler is one sizzling piece of ass.
Way to go with the three miles! I tried running the other day and didn't make it past a little over one. Send your sister my way for some trainging time :) I am a sprinter and always will be.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Rex Grossman?... or Sexy Rexy as I call him. I am glad the Bears are rid of him.
