So I updated the playlist over on the side of this page (I don't know how many of you listen to it, but it's there). I put on stuff I am currently enjoying but if you have any requests I can put more songs on it. The first song is by a band called Why? whom I went to see this past Friday at a straight-edge club here in Bloomington called Rhino's. They're hip-hop/rap and I really like them.
Other than that some of the songs are just sweet (like Clementine by the Decembrists or I Found a Reason by Cat Power) and others are from bands I like. The second song on the list is by thenewno2 (the name is a nod to the show The Prisoner) and the lead singer is George Harrison's son, which is kind of cool.
Other than that I present to you two links for your amusement: I'm pretty sure our parents would all fit into this and then this, not FML but MLIA both fun and kind of uplifting in their own ways.
Also, if you ever need a book to read, I'm trying to hone my reader's advisory skills. So just ask me and I'll try to find the perfect book for you.
