This morning I am shaking my fist at the window repair men. I do appreciate that my giant high-rise building does appropriate repairs, but must they start at 8:00am? Don't they know I'm a graduate student who stays up late the night before she has an exam and wishes to sleep until 9 or 9:30 because she doesn't have to leave for class until 10:30? It's kinda creepy waking up to a platform with the shadows of two dudes going past your window (Blinds closed cause the eastern sun pours in anyway). I suppose they must start early considering the sun sets by 5pm, but it's just annoying. Their machine thing sounds like a dentist's drill and elicits the appropriate shudder from me when I hear it. ALL DAY. Grrrrr......
But I have my coffee. It's not very good because I need properly fitting filters. Some days I win and some days I'm fighting the very weak drips that don't exactly hit the coffee grounds in my cone-shaped filter. Today was the latter. Then I started knocking everything under the sun over with my clumsiness.
Thank you for listening to my whining. Or rather, reading it.
I have a big exam today, and lots due before Thanksgiving. Which is just over a week away. I can't wait to see you girls and to see my family. I am not looking forward to the 10-11 hour drive one way, by myself, but it will totally be worth it. I reserved several books on CD at the library, so hopefully those will keep me awake.
Peace and love to you all! May your coffee be strong, your sleep be uninterrupted, and your day full of sunshine. :)
