Hey Ladies,
Just wanted to give you guys a quick pregnancy update. I can't believe that the baby is due in a month! Crazy! Overall, this pregnancy has gone by so quickly even though I have felt like crap 90% of the time. My belly has exploded in size (pretty typical for the third trimester) and I'm told that the baby is well over 4 pounds right now. Ridiculous. Weight gain is the exact same that it was with Matthew, so I'm hoping that it'll come off just as quickly right afterwards. I now officially cannot see my feet and this makes walking downstairs a little bit dangerous because I'm also experiencing some balancing issues. I almost fell off the treadmill last week because I turned my head to watch this rather interesting looking fella weight lift himself into a frenzy and drifted off to the side. Luckily, I didn't make too much of a scene although I'm sure anyone who saw the incident would probably agree that the whole debacle was very reminiscent of a scene from Moby Dick. Serves me right for being nosy and spying on people.
I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we get closer to meeting the little bambina. My Mom has been freaking me out with tales about how ultrasounds mis-predict baby girls all the time, so now I'm doubting that we are having a girl. Paul tells me that I'm being ridiculous. I'm also getting a little nervous for delivery...I'm sure everything will be fine once we get right down to it, but it is not really something I am looking forward to. I'm going the all-natural route again just because I am more afraid of having a needle in my spine then I am of pain. My Mom keeps telling me that epidurals are so nice...she had her first 8 naturally and then had an epidural for #9 and declared: "Where has this thing been all my life?" She's really encouraging. Haha.
I'll try to get Paul to take a picture tonight or tomorrow to post so you can all see how much I've ballooned. Again, think Moby Dick.
Love you all!
Aw thanks for the update! I'm sure you look beautiful and gorgeous per usual, even with a popped stomach. :)
ReplyDeleteWill be thinking and praying for you and the bambina that all goes smoothly and according to plan. I'd be nervous too. But it'll be all worth it in the end, as you know. Can't wait to oogle over pictures of this little girl and meet her in person someday sooner rather than later. Love you!
