Don't step on a crack or you'll fall and break your back

Which I did this past Friday.  We're getting old, or at least I am.  Let me tell you, don't pull a back muscle or irritate your sciatic nerve or whatever it was I did whilst trying to put on my PJ pants.  (To an already slightly irritated back, however it initially got slightly irritated earlier that day is a mystery to me.) It was basically along the lines of "I've fallen and I can't get up."  Crawling to the bathroom cause I couldn't stand.  Sleeping on the futon downstairs with my legs propped up tossing back Sean's old Percocet from his surgery last spring to knock me out. He was a saint this weekend.

I'm somewhat better now - at least I can move around mostly like a normal human being. Enough that I think I can go back to work tomorrow. I think this is a sign that I need to take up yoga.  I normally have a pretty strong back, but you dancing/cheerleading ladies know that I've never been one for flexibility. Perhaps I should work on that.

In happier news, I did get my permanent job in early January!  Hooray for health insurance and stability. Always feel good. Plus I get to go to the dentist this week for the first time in 1 1/2 to 2 years.  I think this is the first time ever that I've actually been excited to go to the dentist.

Miss you all and can't wait to see you in April for Court's wedding!  Even if it's just for a day, it's been too long.
